In Apparitions, I created a series of graphite drawings directly on the surfaces of ICE Gallery's walls and ceiling that were made by accumulated tracings of shadows and fleeting reflections that appeared throughout the interior of the space between December 21, 2020 - February 13, 2021. In this instance, external forces such as the time of day, weather, alignment of the sun, and orientation of cars parked outside of the building determined the compositional outcome of the works.
