In this ongoing project, I insert flags into pre-existing holes made by nailing, stapling, or drilling throughout architecture spaces.

In this instance, I inserted white flags in all of the holes I can find in and out of the Ché Café located on the campus of UCSD. The Ché Café Co-op was founded in the 1980s and functions as a music and art venue. Since the 2000s it has had a difficult relationship with the campus facilities and administrative departments for the building’s failure to meet certain architectural codes and has been threatened to get shut down multiple times.
